Live on the Green/Free Concerts

So Nashville is such a fun place to live! There are always things going on and free concerts to attend! My friends and I went to Live on the Green which is a free concert every Thursday night during the summer months. There is also always free concerts that will randomly be going on! This year we went to a free Jake Owen concert on a random Monday night! How fun is that?! Celebrities will usually post on their twitter or other social media networks the day and time they will perform.

Lizard Thicket

One of my absolute favorite boutiques that I shop at quite often is Lizard Thicket in Franklin, Tn. They have many other locations and just recently opened one in Green Hills. They always have new things arriving constantly and they also have really good prices. They also have really cute jewelry!

East Nashville

East Nashville is a place that offers that very vintage, hipster feel. They have many art galleries, places to buy repurposed and vintage furniture such as Rustique. Hip Zipper offers vintage clothing and accessories. Hello Boys also offers vintage and contemporary men's clothing. East Nashville has so many choices when it comes to deciding when to eat. My friends and I just recently went to Rose Pepper Cantina last weekend and I loved it! It's mexican food and they have great margaritas! I would definitely recommend it. They also have different pizza places and places to enjoy great ice cream such as Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams!

12 South Nashville

One of Nashville's most talked about neighborhoods, 12 South has it all from dining, shopping, places to socialize such as the best coffee shops! All the shops, dining, and coffee shops are all walking distance from each other. There are mainly high end shops such as Leona which provides southern type clothing but edgy and chic. Next door to Leona is Judith Bright that offers a variety of handmade accessories. Serendipity Emporium is a great place to go for hats, boots, and handmade sweaters.

My friends and I usually like to go eat at 12 S Taproom which is a big hangout kind of place is very laid back with drinks, great food, and live music. Another one of my favorite restaurants is Urban Grub, which is a little more on the expensive side but seriously has the best food and sangria for you wine drinkers! Frothy Monkey, which my friends and I visit quite often, is a coffee shop that offers a range of coffees and teas along with a great lunch menu!

Hotbox Fitness Nashville

This is my absolute favorite workout routines to do in Nashville! Hotbox is located off Demonbreum in the downtown area. Its the most intense workout I have yet to find! It combines a lot of cardio with strength and each class and instructor is different so you never have the exact workout routine! They also offer strength training classes along with the hotbox sessions and they have a gym upstairs. You pay $99 for a 6 month contract and $85 for a 9 month contract. It is totally worth  the money  because you can go as much as you want! All the instructors and other members are super encouraging and supportive! I recommend this to anyone in the Nashville area that is wanting a exciting, intense workout!

Downtown Franklin

Downtown Franklin offers a wide variety of shopping such as antiques, home decor, apparel, jewelry, and art galleries. There are also places to eat such as Mellow Mushroom and Whole Foods. They also have a Starbucks so you can grab a coffee before you begin your shopping! For your apparel needs, there are stores such as Anthropology, BoutiqueMMM, Chico's, and also Vintage Baby for your little ones!

The Gulch

The Gulch is a place where all the locals love to go and many travelers visit. It has many restaurants and shopping that are all walking distance. Whether you want to enjoy music and great drinks at Bar Louie, a nice refreshing juice at Juice Nashville, or great sushi at Ru Sans, The Gulch is a great place to go if you want a variety of food choices and shopping. My favorite places to shop in The Gulch is Blush Boutique and Urban Outiftters. E. Allen is also a good place to shop if you want very cute but casual pieces. They also carry trendy jewelry and shoes. The Gulch is a very laid back atmosphere with that uptown vibe.
